This Lockheed Martin Enterprise IT position is for a highly skilled Data Analyst in the EBDT Innovation and Technology Solutions (ITS) 1LMX Business Resiliency directorate. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other data analysts to create intuitive dashboards, reports, and other actionable data products that communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, to help those business stakeholders make informed decisions.

  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive and dynamic data visualizations using tools such as AWS QuickSight, Cognos Analytics, or other data visualization libraries
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists and analysts to understand business requirements and develop data visualizations that meet their needs
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation of data visualization designs, data sources, and transformation processes
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data visualization-related issues and optimize system performance
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data visualization and make recommendations for adoption
  • Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of data visualizations
  • Develop and maintain data visualization standards and best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in data visualization, software development, or a related field
  • Experience with data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Datawrapper, Grafana, AWS QuickSight, Cognos Analytics)
  • Understand time series data visualization and event correlation
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing
  • Strong understanding of data security and compliance principles and practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data systems and identify areas for improvement
  • Experience with data storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • US Citizenship is required for this role
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Certification in data visualization or a related field
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience with machine learning and data science technologies such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Experience with natural language processing and text analytics technologies
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies
