About The Position

Vanguard is seeking a Data Analyst that is passionate about Vanguard and our funds. In this role, you will support the system which articulates assets and cash flow across each of Vanguard's lines of business. This role will function as a critical liaison between Finance and Technology teams and will engage with clients across the enterprise.

Requirements

Five years related work experience.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Strong technical skills in data analysis tools (ex., SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple priorities.
Proven ability to solve business problems through technology.
Exceptional stakeholder management (influence, persuasion, communication, change management).

Responsibilities

Analyzes business and user needs and documents requirements.
Develops moderately complex information systems and advises on the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
Translates client’s requirements to functional documentation.
Formulates and defines the systems scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes.
Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results.
Leads the design and testing of new or enhanced applications.
Leads the implementation of systems and software.
Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications, and consequences of various proposed system changes.
Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues.
Performs user support processes and activities for the implementation of new or existing applications.
Leads the collection, documentation, and maintenance of functional requirements and modeling.
Guides and advises less experienced crew.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
