Major Responsibilities: Establishes and maintains effective working relationships to improve patient outcomes including active participation on workgroups. Performs intra-data analysis and quality measures to assure the data meets various database and internal data quality standards. Extracts and manipulates data to perform trend calculations, identify benchmarking opportunities and business needs, and measure process or organizational performance. Extracts patterns from data to transform data into information. Analyzes, compiles, researches, and validates data to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of analytics. Presents, displays, and calculates various statistics displaying analysis results. May assist others with data cleansing and more complex statistical analysis. Participates in performance improvement activities by identifying appropriate data sources and requested analysis. Prepares and presents specified site data on a routine bases to site leadership and other clinical specialty teams as requested. Prepares clinical data requests within specified timeline. Coordinates informational training sessions to assure individuals understands data functions and definitions. Facilitates leadership's and staff's interpretation of data by developing narrative and quantitative reports (charts, tables, or graphs) depicting analysis results, recommendations, forecasting, and performance. Identifies and implements opportunities for increasing business efficiency by developing new methods for automating or improving data collection, validation, and benchmarking activities. Implements, and maintains database systems based on leadership and end-user specifications to advance departmental/organizational data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities. Ensures data is provided in a manner that is consistent and compliant with applicable laws, regulations, legal agreements, policies and procedure, and/or other standards.
