About The Position

The Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting quality management initiatives for large-scale healthcare oversight programs. This role focuses on analyzing program performance data, preparing detailed reports, and providing actionable insights to improve healthcare outcomes. You will work closely with program staff, technical teams, and stakeholders to organize and interpret large datasets related to member outcomes, provider performance, and regulatory benchmarks. The position offers an opportunity to directly influence data-driven decision-making, ensuring compliance with quality standards across managed care programs. Ideal candidates have strong analytical skills, experience with healthcare quality datasets, and the ability to translate complex data into clear reports and visualizations. This is a fully remote role in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a data analyst, preferably in healthcare, public sector, or quality-focused environments.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Excel, and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with healthcare quality datasets, including HEDIS, CAHPS, provider performance, or utilization metrics.
  • Understanding of healthcare quality frameworks, performance measurement, and managed care models.
  • Ability to interpret structured data and communicate results in line with program goals and compliance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and experience working in highly regulated environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Medicaid, CHIP, or other public health insurance programs.
  • Exposure to pay-for-performance or value-based care initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze datasets related to quality measures, healthcare outcomes, provider performance, and member experience.
  • Support the creation of performance reports using HEDIS, CAHPS, and PA Performance Measures data.
  • Validate, clean, and transform data to maintain accuracy and support quality dashboards and regulatory reporting.
  • Compile and prepare data for public and internal reports on pay-for-performance and value-based initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics, interpret trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in formatting and visualizing data-driven reports for internal and external audiences.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data accuracy, consistency, and reporting processes.
