About The Position

Data Analytics Specialist serves as initial support for the assigned EPIC application's operation (transactional) data and reporting request. Reporting Analysts create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualization tools. Works through assigned tickets/issues and resolves problems of a routine nature, performing updates or edits to existing data extracts and reporting or developing new routine extracts and reports. Ability to create, update, analyze, share and validate data with consideration for the influence of missing information and outliers. Communicates technology changes, optimizations, and upgrades to end users. Responds and assists customers immediately upon request and follows up on previous interactions to ensure issue resolution, escalation, or issue closure as appropriate. Serves as subject matter expert (SME) of Epic Reporting, Dashboards. Assist, investigate and solve reporting concerns with recommendations to clinical departments and hospital staff. Able to effectively communicate with other end users and is perceived as approachable and reliable.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years working in an EPIC or other EHR environment preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance, Healthcare, or related field or equivalent education/experience preferred
  • Certification in EPIC Reporting or SQL preferred
  • Certification in Power BI preferred
