About The Position

The Opportunity: As database manager, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve challenges. As a database manager at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good. We need a database manager like you to bring your knowledge to craft simulation databases for the U.S. Army. As a mission partner facing database manager on our team, you will create military simulation scenarios and assist in the planning, designing, evaluating, and execution of simulation-supported training events. You will assist with resolving interoperability issues pertaining to exercise systems and assist with system configuration requirements. You’ll be the subject matter expert in simulation platforms used for training exercises. You’ll test and troubleshoot exercise system hardware and software to ensure minimal downtime of systems. You will analyze and document flaws in database configuration and implement corrections. You’ll assist with training soldiers on using components of the simulation platforms and Command and Control Information Systems in support of training exercises. You’ll participate in special projects and perform additional duties to support client requirements, as required. Join us. The world can’t wait.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with the Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC)
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word
  • Knowledge of force structure to design simulation databases that meet doctrinal requirements
  • Knowledge of Command and Control (C2) Information Systems
  • Ability to create JLCCTC or DXTRS simulation databases
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the U.S. Army Logistics
  • Experience working on a battalion or higher headquarters staff
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
