About The Position

The LA Clippers are looking to hire a Data Analyst Lead to drive data‑informed decisions across ticketing strategy across pricing, inventory management, and demand generation for our business. This role owns the analytics that power everyday decisions—from forecasting and performance reporting to optimization recommendations that increase conversion and yield. You will partner closely with Marketing, Sales and Finance stakeholders to translate data into clear actions and measurable outcomes. This is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA in our new home at Intuit Dome. Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of analytics experience with a focus on pricing, revenue optimization, or ecommerce/ticketing analytics.
  • Advanced SQL and BI/dashboarding skills (Power BI, Tableau, or similar), with proven ability to model data and tell a clear story with visuals.
  • Hands‑on ML experience (regression/forecasting, clustering/segmentation, propensity/uplift); able to translate model results into pricing and demand actions a business partner can use
  • Strong business partnering ability - skilled at working with Sales/Marketing/Finance and influencing decisions through data.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; concise, executive‑ready presentations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with pricing strategy and elasticity analysis in a high‑SKU or high‑velocity environment.
  • Hands‑on familiarity with experimentation platforms (A/B testing) and uplift/propensity modeling.
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for ad‑hoc analysis and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Own performance reporting: Build and maintain dashboards that track sales pace, conversion, inventory health, revenue, and customer behavior across channels and segments.
  • Forecast demand and revenue: Develop short‑ and long‑range forecasts at product and event levels; quantify scenarios to inform pricing, promotions, and inventory release strategies.
  • Optimize pricing and promotions: Analyze demand signals and customer segments to recommend price moves, discounts, bundles, and holds; measure lift and ROI post‑implementation.
  • Improve funnel and channel efficiency: Diagnose friction points across web and app; provide recommendations to improve checkout conversion and reduce abandonment.
  • Partner across teams: Translate insights into action with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations; present clear narratives and recommendations to leadership.
  • Champion data quality: Define and document core KPIs and data definitions; write checks/QA routines to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports and models.
  • Run test‑and‑learn programs: Design A/B and multivariate tests for pricing and promotion strategies; analyze results and scale winning approaches.
