As a Data Analyst Intern at The Ohio State University, you will play a crucial role in supporting energy conservation initiatives on campus. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in reducing energy consumption in campus buildings through various data analytics projects. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in data analytics, particularly in the context of energy conservation. You will be involved in data acquisition, conducting analyses, and maintaining the ENGIE C3ntinel energy data platform. On a daily basis, you will investigate and correct data errors, fulfill data requests, and utilize the C3ntinel platform to perform measurement and verification of energy conservation measures before and after their implementation. You will also be tasked with extracting data and calculating Energy Use Intensity (EUI), as well as performing analyses on energy conservation measures. This role will allow you to develop your analytical skills while contributing to meaningful sustainability efforts on campus. You will report directly to the Data Analyst II, who will guide you through your projects and help you gain valuable insights into the field of data analytics.
