About The Position
The Data Analyst II at Logix Federal Credit Union plays a crucial role as a technical resource in the areas of data analysis, data integration, and data management. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of data analysis methodologies, information systems, and data structures to effectively align business insights with corporate goals and strategies. The Data Analyst II will engage in requirements gathering sessions with internal customers and present their findings to relevant business units, ensuring that data activities are aligned with key business goals and initiatives. In this role, the Data Analyst II will generate custom analytics and perform data analysis using various statistical techniques and analytics tools. They will be responsible for conducting data integration and managing database data for use across different units and business processes. The analyst will identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, generate custom reports, and create data models to enhance system usage and performance analysis. Additionally, they will develop data flow diagrams and visualizations to communicate information effectively. The Data Analyst II will also write database queries and stored procedures to support the development needs of project teams, acquire data from primary and secondary sources, and ensure the accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and integrity of the data. Collaborating with business units, the analyst will prioritize business and information needs, aligning analytics with business processes. They will create data architecture models and reference architecture, working closely with IT resources to validate and implement strategic data technologies. Documentation of logical data structures, including data mapping and field definitions, will also be a key responsibility of this position.
