Under the direction of the Manager, Data Analytics, the Data Analyst II will develop, interpret, and implement complex financial and analytical concepts or techniques for financial planning and control regarding management reporting. Assists management with the interpretation, evaluation and interrelationship of research data and generate integrated business analysis and projections to facilitate decision making. Motivates and mentors' staff to ensure commitment to excellence and quality service to all entities within the enterprise.

  • Prepares monthly statistical reports on the performance of key revenue centers within the enterprise.
  • Researches, documents, analyzes, and reports all relevant financial information regarding the operation of these business units.
  • Partners with departments across the enterprise to develop, evaluate, and revise methodologies for measuring and forecasting performance.
  • Conducts special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepares recommendation for policy, procedure, control, or action.
  • Conducts and coordinates financial, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business planning within the FP&A department as directed by the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Performs special studies as assigned including preparation of written and/or verbal reports.
  • Assists with the interpretation, evaluation, and interrelationship of research data, and generates integrated business analysis and projections for incorporation into decision making.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field required.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of analysis experience is required.
  • Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Experience working with relational databases and enterprise reporting tools is required.
  • Employee must have experience demonstrating the utmost discretion and confidentiality as team member will have access to confidential information including, but not limited to: Social Security numbers, customer contact information, customer financial data, and organizational financial data.
