We are looking for a Data Analyst II to join us on our quest to further invent and innovate. As a Data Analyst I, you will liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to anticipate their needs and help foster a data-led culture. You should be able to work with both technical and non-technical teams to define and measure key business metrics and use them in insightful reports. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. Role Overview: As a Data Analyst I at EKN Engineering, you’ll bridge technical expertise with business insight to transform data into actionable information. You’ll manage data pipelines, validate and visualize key metrics, and build reports that drive strategic decisions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and turning complex data into clear, meaningful stories that support EKN’s growth and innovation.

  • Interpret data, analyze results, and identify opportunities for new reporting.
  • Validate data by continually reviewing both reports and data sources for accuracy and consistency.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Administer and improve the data management system, including deployment pipelines.
  • Establish KPI’s to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
  • Create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency using SQL or similar query language.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, technical, and analytical skills.
  • Bachelors' degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or Tableau or similar data visualization software.
  • Competence managing various aspects of a data pipeline, including data validation, data management, data analysis and data visualization.
