The Fleet Technologies Group leads a portfolio of innovative projects focused on enhancing operations, customer communications, and depot operations. Working alongside us, our sister group-The Zero Emission Fleet Transformation (ZEFT)-is driving the ambitious transition to an all-electric bus fleet by 2040, ushering in a more sustainable future for transit. Automatic camera enforcement (ACE) seeks to use cutting edge camera, license plate recognition, and AI/ML technology to identify violations of traffics laws such as bus lane, bus stop or double-parking infractions.

  • Analyze data from installed ACE systems to evaluate the performance of associated artificial intelligence models and extract actionable insights.
  • Join field exercises to gather evidence for subsequent review and analysis.
  • Create charts and diagrams illustrating system functionality.
  • Attend project meetings and provide input where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to coordinate activities.
  • Compile reports using data from multiple, diverse sources.
  • Document analytical processes and procedures.
  • Develop scripts for data analysis and transformation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
  • The candidate should possess organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • The candidate should be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently while being an active team player.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude - Strong mathematical skill and intuitive problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer Programming - Medium to strong coding skills, with proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., JavaScript or Python).
  • Relational databases - Practical experience working with SQL and relational database structures.
  • Business intelligence tools - Experience using at least one BI platform, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Matriculated in a graduate program in good standing with at least 2.8 GPA
  • Major(s) Preferred: Data Science, or any Computer Science / Engineering with a focus on Data Science, or related field.
