Burson is seeking a proactive Data Analyst Assistant with strong analytical skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data from various sources, with a particular focus on social media monitoring (Social Listening) and the performance of communication campaigns (generated from PR). They will utilize key tools such as Brandwatch, Talkwalker, and Looker Studio to generate actionable insights and clear reports that inform communication results.

  • Monitor online conversations, social media platforms, and digital channels using Brandwatch to track brand mentions, customer sentiment, and industry trends.
  • Identify emerging trends, key themes, and patterns in social media data to provide valuable insights.
  • Conduct sentiment analysis to understand public perception and brand reputation.
  • Collect and analyze performance data from communication campaigns, including key metrics such as impressions, ROI, and impact.
  • Generate detailed reports and interactive dashboards in Looker Studio to communicate campaign results and trends.
  • Design and develop visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports in Looker Studio, transforming complex data into understandable and actionable information for different audiences.
  • Prepare clear and concise presentations of findings and recommendations for clients.
  • Support in the cleaning, organization, and validation of large volumes of data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure proper integration and availability of data.
  • Professional in statistics, data science, marketing, communication, or a related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of prior experience in a similar role as a Data Analyst Assistant or in digital marketing/media.
  • Advanced level of Excel, social listening tools (Brandwatch and/or Talkwalker), and data visualization platforms (Looker Studio).
  • B2 level of English.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python/R for data manipulation is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and extract meaningful insights.
  • Ability to perform basic statistical analysis and understand performance metrics.
  • Solid understanding of Social Listening principles and their application in marketing and communication strategies.
  • Knowledge of key metrics and KPIs in media performance analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to tell stories with data (data storytelling).
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
