About The Position

The Data Analyst Apprenticeship at OpenClassrooms is an innovative earn-and-learn opportunity designed to help individuals build a solid foundation for a career in data analytics. This 12-month competency-based apprenticeship allows participants to engage in on-the-job training for four days a week while dedicating one day to completing OpenClassrooms' online data analyst training path. This unique structure not only provides practical experience but also ensures that apprentices earn an income throughout the program. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a U.S. Department of Labor Certificate of Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship Program, which is a valuable credential in the field of data analytics. The program is inclusive and welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds, whether they are recent high school graduates eager to start their careers, college graduates seeking to enhance their professional experience, or seasoned professionals looking to transition into the tech and digital sectors. The apprenticeship focuses on providing financial aid information and assistance to students and employers, guiding them through funding application processes, explaining available options, and assisting with necessary documentation. This role demands strong customer service skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and institutional policies related to apprenticeship and salary funding. In addition to providing advisement and support, the Financial Aid Data Analyst Apprentice will be responsible for managing the collection and documentation of Department of Labor (DOL) documents for registered apprenticeships, overseeing grant budgets, and collaborating with Workforce Development boards to facilitate communication between employers and manage federal grants such as the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). This apprenticeship not only equips participants with essential skills in data analysis but also prepares them for future roles in the workforce by emphasizing compliance, record-keeping, and effective problem resolution.
