About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data or computer science, informatics, economics, statistics, mathematics, public health, health administration or a related field.
• Satisfactory completion of a two-year traineeship or two years of experience in data visualization, statistical models, and data mining tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Insurance, Medicaid preferred.
• 2 years of SQL experience working with large datasets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build models in support of analytic use cases.
• Draft technical requirements and data definitions.
• Provide input on current approaches and recommend improvements.
• Review and suggest improvements to current or planned systems and processes.
• Perform data extraction, aggregation, and quality checks from multiple sources.
• Summarize results and create written reports.
• Collaborate with staff to develop business intelligence solutions.
