About The Position

The Center for Translational Research in Neuroimaging and Data Science (TReNDS) is focused on developing, applying and sharing advanced analytic approaches and neuroinformatics tools that leverage advanced brain imaging and omics data, with a goal of translating these approaches into biomarkers that can help address relevant areas of brain health and disease. Large scale data sharing and multimodal data fusion techniques are the underpinnings of our approach. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing complex research datasets.
  • Familiarity with research data governance and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with multimodal or high-dimensional data.
  • Experience working with clinical or neurobiological datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain site-level data management plans, ensure compliance with IRB, HIPAA, and institutional data policies, and serve as the primary point of contact for data coordination and reporting.
  • Oversee data curation, metadata, and provenance across data types; maintain data dictionaries and documentation; ensure datasets are structured and reusable.
  • Align and harmonize data across modalities, scales, and timepoints; resolve site-specific data inconsistencies; support creation of integrated, subject-level datasets.
  • Implement and monitor QC procedures; track data completeness, integrity, and versioning; support reproducible workflows.
  • Coordinate with investigators, clinicians, and informatics teams and contribute to progress reporting and internal reviews.
