About The Position
As a work from home Data Abstractor, supporting Cardiovascular Surgery, you will be responsible for abstraction of data for complex cardiovascular services. This role involves completing the abstraction process for assigned facilities, including abstraction of cases into the required systems, reviewing medical records to abstract information according to the standards of various regulatory and accreditation agencies, and ensuring timely abstraction to maintain compliance with standards. You will also be responsible for completing edit checks, following standards and instructions to abstract all reportable cases, assisting with case follow-up, attending educational activities, maintaining clinical knowledge of various abstracted measures, and communicating with management to achieve measure compliance.
