About The Position

A DAS Technician executes a DAS project's day-to-day installation timeline. A DAS Technician helps achieve critical milestone dates for the assigned project. Expectations include being accountable, showing up with the required tools and PPE, and completing tasks as assigned with a positive attitude and attention to detail. This role reports to a Site Foreman on a day-to-day basis. Join a team that connects people through technology. Requirements

  • Tech 1: Minimum 6 months of low voltage experience
  • Experience working on cross-disciplinary, cross-functional teams to achieve success
  • Proficient in Office 365, Bluebeam, and other computer and phone-app related tools
  • Fluency in English (both written & verbal)
  • ½” coax cable prep tools, category cable RJ45 crimper, HILTI powder-actuated tools experience
  • Basic hand, power tools (Screwdriver, torque wrench, crimper, hammer drill, circular/jig saw) experience
  • Tech 2: Minimum 1 year of technical & operational experience in technology integration, with experience in some of the following fields: In-building wireless systems, RF Technologies, Cellular and Public Safety Systems.
  • Demonstrated success building out project installs to design specifications
  • Coax Cable Segment Sweep testers experience – Kaelus iVA and Anritsu S332E

Nice To Haves

  • ½” coax cable prep tools experience
  • HILTI powder-actuated tools experience

Responsibilities

  • Install cable pathway, rough-in cable runs.
  • Roof work: erect masts/sleds, mount donor antennas, run, dress, support cabling
  • Arrive at work at agreed-upon site start times.
  • Show up ready with appropriate personal tools & equipment.
  • Display professionalism in all interactions with team members and external points of contact.
  • Keep material staging areas organized and neat.
  • Regularly clean-up work areas as you go.
  • Keep track of all tools, equipment, and project materials in your possession.
