Requirements
- Must be 23 years of age or older for insurance purposes
- Must have a valid driver's license (Texas for Dallas positions, Pennsylvania for Philadelphia positions)
- Must have a clean criminal record and no moving vehicle violations for at least two consecutive years
- Pass Drug Screen, Background, and Motor Vehicle Report check (No Felonies or aggressive misdemeanors/ No Suspension in past 5 years)
- Possess or be willing to obtain State NEMT Certification
- Driving Experience: 5 years minimum
- Defensive Driving Certification
- PASS (Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity) Certification
- DOT Medical Transportation Certification
Responsibilities
- Safely transport clients with mobility challenges to medical appointments and healthcare facilities
- Operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles with specialized medical transport equipment
- Coordinate and prioritize scheduled transfers with precision timing
- Provide compassionate, professional service to clients with diverse needs
- Assist clients with wheelchairs, walkers, and mobility devices
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and healthcare staff
