About The Position

Applicants will be considered for any power jack start type opening on shift posted. Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include, but are not limited to, Shipping and Receiving. Must be available to work overtime and weekends if required. Must accept work in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. Jobs are fast paced and require repetitive motion. Some positions require lifting, pushing and pulling up to 40+ lbs. Material Handling and Receiving positions require lifting 70+ lbs. Constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment. Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.

Requirements

Must have 3-Months Forklift experience within the last 12 months listed on the application (Can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 3 months).
Applicants must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.
If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for a visit to the facility.
Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there's a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply.
Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
