Dance Team Head Coach
About The Position
American Heritage is hiring a head coach for the AHS Dance Team. The purpose of the dance team will be to provide students with an opportunity to dance and perform; build unity and school spirit; create a sense of family and team amongst the squad; and support our students and athletics teams. The team will practice after school 2-3 times per week and perform during halftimes of varsity basketball games and at other school events. The Dance Team will represent AHS values through their music, attire, and dance routines. Candidates must have previous dance coaching experience, an enduring love of youth, a love of teaching and learning, and a desire to work in a faith-based atmosphere aligned with the values taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication, group management and leadership skills. They should be professional in appearance and demeanor with a willingness to uphold and serve as ambassadors for the AHS Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off-campus. Seasonal Stipend based upon experience. Position available immediately for the 26–27 school year. Applications are being accepted until the position is filled.
