About The Position
The Dance Teacher position is for grades 7-8 at Grace Wilday Junior High School for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a ten-month employment opportunity that involves daily dance instruction, organizing showcases, and participating in district art events. The teacher will be responsible for differentiating the dance curriculum to meet the needs of individual students and the student body as a whole. Clear communication with parents and faculty regarding student progress is essential, as well as planning a balanced dance program that allows for preparation, rehearsal, and instruction within the allotted class time.
