The Fine Arts Department at Endicott College is looking for an adjunct instructor in to teach Dance Movement for Spring 2026 (January 20 - May 8). The course is set for the following days and times. Wednesday 4:00-6:30PM In compliance with Massachusetts pay transparency law, the pay for this position is $4,700. This range reflects base pay only and does not include other potential compensation or benefits. Course descriptions: AET215 Dance/Movement Therapy Foundations Within a studio setting, students explore the therapeutic and expressive aspects of dance/movement experiences. Theory and application are studied with the goal of investigating the therapeutic effects of dance/movement therapy in educational, psychiatric, physical, and rehabilitation settings. Additional creative modalities are introduced. (Cr: 3)

Requirements

  • An M.A. in Art Therapy or Expressive Arts Therapy or the equivalent.
  • Board certified or registered in one of the creative arts therapies
  • College level teaching experience

Responsibilities

  • deliver the course in person.
  • be aware of and abide by Endicott’s academic policies
  • use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of the course.
  • use Canvas as the course’s learning management system.
  • meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades.
  • meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter.
  • communicate with the Chair of Fine Arts if and when issues arise concerning the teaching of the course, and with the Dean of the School of Visual and Performing Arts about other matters.
  • if requested, provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes.
  • use their Endicott email address when communicating with students.
