About The Position
The YMCA is seeking a Dance Instructor to join their team. This role involves connecting with people and sharing a passion for dance, positively impacting the community, helping children reach their potential, and enacting age-appropriate goals. The instructor will be part of a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the community.
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- 1+ years of experience in a dance setting
- Have strong communication skills with desire to meet everyone at their level of experience
- Enjoyment from working with children and keeping positive relationships with their parents
Responsibilities
- Leading fun, safe, and educational dance classes
- Building strong relationships with members and guests of all ages and skill levels
- Assisting directors in developing new dance-centered fitness programs
