The Rochester Knighthawks are seeking a Dance Coach in Rochester, NY.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, or equivalent.
  • 5-10 years of dance and coaching experience, including choreography and team leadership.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a positive, energetic personality.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required by the team schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Knighthawks brand is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Rochester Knighthawks Dance Team to ensure they create an engaging and entertaining atmosphere at Knighthawks games and events
  • Design, choreograph, and teach dance routines for in-game performances, promotional appearances, and community events.
  • Mentor and provide constructive feedback to performers on choreography, techniques, and presentation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead team practices.
  • Maintain a professional and upbeat demeaner while representing the Knighthawks brand.
  • Collaborate with game entertainment staff, marketing, and community relations teams to align performances with organizational goals.
  • Manage scheduling, attendance, and performance standards for all team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and organizational policies during practices and performances.
  • Assist with costume coordination, music selection, and overall creative direction for performances.
