About The Position

The position involves overseeing pipeline crossings by third parties and working closely with company crews and outside contractors to ensure excavations are performed to prevent damage. The role requires conducting investigations into natural gas facility damages, completing damage investigations, and ensuring resolution. Additionally, the position involves reviewing and reconciling invoices, maintaining contact with area excavators, municipalities, and company personnel responsible for excavation activities, and ensuring the accuracy of company maps and records related to damage prevention. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing and maintaining accurate records and reports to comply with company and regulatory requirements. This role may require holding stand-by duty, working shifts, holidays, weekends, and emergency call-outs, as well as reporting outside the regular work area. Identifying, addressing, and reporting safety and encroachment issues to resolution is a critical part of the job. The position also entails the safe operation and inspection of assigned company vehicles and equipment, demonstrating support for and adherence to company values, strategies, policies, and procedures, and exhibiting the core values of AtmoSpirit, customer service, safety, and the code of conduct. Candidates must become familiar with the contents of the Safety Manual and actively participate in creating and maintaining a safe working environment, completing all required safety training. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and reliability of our natural gas distribution services, contributing to our vision of being the safest provider of natural gas services while modernizing our business and infrastructure.
