About The Position
The Damage Prevention Operations Coordinator is responsible for the execution of locates on Entergy electrical lines and fiber, providing technical support, oversight, scheduling, monitoring, coordination, and management updates. This role involves overseeing and monitoring the safety and performance of contractors and company personnel, ensuring locators work safely, efficiently, and effectively. The coordinator will ensure all facilities and assets are located on time and accurately per the established Dig Laws and in accordance with company standards, confirming with inspection. Additionally, the coordinator will provide locate training and fill in for supervisors when needed, work closely with internal and external customers, validate contractor invoices, perform field observations, and coordinate material orders and deliveries.
