Requirements
- Current, active RN license in the state of Texas
- BLS certification (required); CPI or equivalent crisis intervention certification preferred
- Must pass a Central Abuse Registry check prior to assignment
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in behavioral health, psych, or related care setting
- Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and crisis management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, assist with mobility, and work on your feet for extended periods
- Compassionate, patient, and professional approach to mental health care
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in behavioral health or psychiatric settings
- Administer medications and monitor for effectiveness and side effects
