About The Position
As an Overnight Fulfillment Center Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customer orders are filled seamlessly in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain the quality of customer orders across various operational work areas, including inbound, outbound, and dispatch. You will be expected to demonstrate these values in your daily tasks and interactions with team members and leadership. In this role, you will be involved in several key activities. During the inbound process, you will receive and transfer goods from suppliers into totes, ensuring that all items are accounted for and properly stored. In the outbound phase, you will pick and pack customer orders, working in different environments such as ambient, chill, or freezer areas. The dispatch responsibilities will involve assisting in the loading or moving process of customer orders throughout the Fulfillment Center. Achieving productivity goals and targets is essential, and you will need to flexibly switch between various operational roles as needed. You will also be responsible for resolving any minor production-related issues and will have the opportunity to request assistance from leadership when necessary. Following quality and accuracy guidelines is critical to ensuring a positive customer experience and accurate orders. Compliance with all operational processes within your work area will drive efficiency, and adherence to safety and food safety processes is paramount. You will be expected to report any defective equipment or health and safety concerns promptly. Additionally, providing recommendations to leadership to encourage best practices and continuous improvement will be part of your responsibilities.
