Responsibilities: · Dairy Processing Operators support the Shippensburg plant in the daily production of Cream Cheese and Yogurt to meet customer orders. You'll be responsible for turning raw materials into high-quality dairy products that are packaged on the packaging floor. (This could include receiving milk, running an HTST and other processing equipment, and/or batching flavored product.) · Partner safety and food safety are our top priorities, that’s why you’ll be expected to follow good manufacturing practices and housekeeping guidelines. (This included wearing designated personal protective equipment (such as gloves, hard hats, hair nets, hearing protection, etc.) and adhering to all OSHA safety requirements.) Requirements: · Candidates must have a high-school diploma (or equivalent) and the ability to read, understand and follow written procedures. · At least two years of manufacturing experience is preferred. · This job may require you to lift between 30-50 pounds at waist level, operate an electronic pallet jack and a stand-up forklift, and work in hot or cold conditions. · This position requires receiving a passing score on the Wonderlic cognitive exam (required pre-interview) as well as receiving a passing score on a basic mechanical assessment (administered at the time of the interview). · This position requires passing a post-offer background check and drug screen. · Proficiency in reading and comprehension of the English language is required.
