About The Position
Performs heavy manual labor to care for dairy cows at the Dairy Parlor. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Performs heavy manual labor in the Dairy parlor, including daily cleaning to maintain the appearance of the area. Caring for animals: cleaning manure, feeding and watering. Milking of dairy cows during scheduled milking times. Delivers Milking demonstrations presentation to fair visitors. Assists in preparation and closing of milking parlor exhibit. Maintains cleanliness and appearance of milking parlor area. QualificationsSkills, Knowledge and abilities Experience with Dairy Cows physical requirements of job Able to lift up to 25 lbs Able to stand for a long period of time with reasonable accommodations.
