About the position
The Dairy Manager is responsible for the operations and profitability of the Dairy Department. This role includes training, directing, and supervising department employees. The Dairy Manager will ensure that the department is well-stocked, clean, and inviting to customers, while adhering to company guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Ordering and replenishing the department according to the company guidelines.
- Keeping the department full and in stock without over ordering.
- Ensuring the most popular items are always in stock.
- Managing all of the daily department conditions based on company guidelines.
- Tagging, facing, rotating, cleanliness, stocking, back stocking and returns.
- Ensuring the department is full of product, clean and inviting to customers.
- Utilizing milk order guides for stock levels.
- Performing other assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Less than high school education.
- No prior experience necessary.
