The Dairy Lead supervises the department to facilitate meeting sales and profit goals. This is accomplished by providing exceptional customer service by keeping the department properly ordered, stocked, and organized to provide optimal product quality and a shopping experience to our valued customers. Essential functions include accurately and efficiently ordering dairy products, ensuring accuracy of dairy loads and invoices, training and managing dairy employees, maintaining proper receiving, storing, and stocking of products according to company protocols, upholding proper product rotation practices, reviewing product code dates, organizing products in designated workspaces, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, maintaining damaged and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures, helping monitor proper temperatures in cases and coolers and promptly reporting any concerns or issues to department Lead and Store Management, and performing General Clerk and other duties as assigned.
