About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Control, test, and communicate all Milk and Whey flows throughout the plant to support Plant production activities. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Control and communicate liquid flows with all plant departments and vendors as required. Obtain required samples and test following standard procedures. Maintain all plant equipment in a clean and sanitary condition.. Maintain licenses and certifications as required. Support all audits and inspections. KEY ACTIVITIES: Complete all sampling, testing, and documentation requirements. Perform all Plant Master Sanitation Schedule duties. Maintain licenses and certifications as required. Maintain clear communication with all plant departments. Maintain all Raw milk area equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Support all Quality programs. Support the Plant traffic pattern plan. Follow all position related GMP’s, sanitation procedures, and quality procedures as set forth by QA and/or supervisors. Responsible for following Safety (OSHA) regulations and procedures. Responsible for complying to all Safe Quality Food (SQF) polices/procedures and requirements for position. All other duties as assigned by Supervisor. PERFORMANCE METRICS: Documentation accuracy Achieve efficiency targets Achieve quality targets Achieve safety goals Maintain required license, certification, and training. Complete Master Sanitation Schedule records WORK ENVIROMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Production roles are performed in a food manufacturing environment and require strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards, including use of required PPE. Employees may work in areas with variable temperatures, machinery noise, and exposure to food ingredients and sanitation chemicals. The role requires standing or walking for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and regularly lifting up to 25–35 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.

Requirements

  • Read gauges and thermometers
  • Basic mathematics knowledge
  • Visually screen color change test strips Operate computer controlled equipment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Maintain Bulk Milk Weigher and Sampler License.
  • Maintain Milk, Food, and Water Analyst Certification.
  • Must be able to climb steps.
  • Must be able to perform those physical duties associated with Plant Intake activities, including lifting weight up to 75 pounds.
