  • Basic knowledge of retail financial metrics
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
  • Operate department equipment safely and efficiently
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous experience in grocery retail and/ or perishable department(s) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all dairy products are fresh, properly rotated, and displayed according to company standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage ordering to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
  • Train, supervise, and schedule dairy department staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Monitor compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular audits of product quality and department cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with store management on promotions and seasonal displays.
