About The Position

The Material Handler position at Daimler Truck North America involves moving truck components within the Portland Plant to assist in the manufacturing of trucks. Requirements

• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move material within the Plant.
• Load and offload trucks.
• Locate and store material, weigh out and count parts.
• Operate necessary equipment such as forklifts, scales, cranes, yard trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Handle paperwork in a prescribed manner.
• Ensure safe operation practices are followed according to prescribed safety procedures.
• Learn, access, and utilize various portions of the IMS/MRP and Shoptech systems.
