About The Position

A Daily Substitute Teacher is called on a day-to-day basis to teach and supervise students in the event that their regular teacher is unable to lead class. Their duties include managing classroom behavior, quickly interpreting lesson plans and creating reports to inform the students' permanent teacher of their success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• CT Teaching Certificate preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Required)
• Experience working with children (Required)

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a school system preferred
