About The Position

At Barclays, we don't just embrace change - we drive it. We are seeking a dynamic, detail oriented Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join our new DACA (Deposit Account Control Agreement) Operations Support Team. This role will have a dual focus, providing support for the end-to-end lifecycle of deposit accounts governed by legal documentation and leading strategic Operational Readiness and Transformation initiatives for US Corporate Bank Operations. The ideal candidate will need to thoroughly demonstrate their banking operational knowledge and experience within line teams overseeing day to day functional processing, risk mitigation and compliance and issue management, as well as successfully managing projects enabling timely delivery on concurrent engagements, focusing on simplification and automation.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree required.
• Experience managing support processes for legal/contractual agreements or similar control documentation and workflows.
• Experience managing (DACA) Deposit Account Control Agreements or similar control/legal documentation processes.

• Experience in risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology.
• Strong communication skills to influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support with day-to-day payments initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.
• Monitor the banks payment operations to ensure that they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner and comply with the relevant regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate payments processes.
• Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change in payments processes.
• Develop and implement payments procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
• Develop reports and presentations on payments performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
• Identify industry trends and developments to implement best practice in payments Services.
• Participate in projects and initiatives to improve payments efficiency and effectiveness.
