Smile North Carolina, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant I or II in Statesville, NC and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school working full-time.
Our innovative in school dental program offers something different than a traditional dental practice. With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment, working parents and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field.

Dental Assistant II Qualifications:
NC X-ray Licensed
Coronal Polishing
DA I or II
CPR /BLS certified
Working experience as a Dental Assistant
Digital X-ray Imaging experience
Valid driver license, reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to schools across counties
Works well with children
Team player and able to work on a small team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics
• Digital X-ray Imaging
• Patient Records Charting
• Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance
• Travel Daily to and from school site
