River Edge Behavioral Health is recognized for its state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families, and adults annually who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders, and substance abuse problems. In addition, River Edge offers services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role you will provide services in a behavioral health program, plan, develop, implement, and administer services and programs for clients, supervise work of assigned staff if applicable, act as client advocate in order to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations, develop and implement treatment plans, provide behavioral health assessments, direct treatment staff in evaluating, planning treatments, and delivering therapeutic services, may counsel clients in individual and/or group sessions in order to help them overcome dependencies, recover from illness, and adjust to life, and prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.
