About The Position

River Edge is where caring professionals provide expert services to many people, we serve by offering safe spaces for groups, coordinated care, and evidenced-based outpatient care. In addition to inpatient stabilization and Substance Abuse Services. River Edge is currently seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for Hidden Hills Crisis Home located in Baldwin County. The shift for this position is up to 32 hours per week.

Requirements

• Current LPN license, in good standing with the Georgia State licensing board.
• Minimum of three (3) years mental health experience, preferred IDD experience.
• Provide 2 Professional references (Former employers only, no family members).
• All applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file.
• Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding, and dressing.
• Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication and following healthcare plans.
• Update patient records in a confidential manner.
• Evaluate the patient’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff.
• Explain standard protocols and healthcare plans to patients and families.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts to include weekends.
