About The Position

The Die Cutter 2nd Helper assists the Operator on the Rotary Die Cutter machine. This machine cuts, prints, and scores corrugated sheets using rotary cutting dies. The 2nd Helper is the last set of eyes on the product before it goes to the Folder Gluer and must have a sharp eye for quality. This position also delivers on our core focus of: The answer is yes. Requirements

18 years of age or older
GED or high school diploma

Responsibilities

Assists with setup of machine to Factory Job Ticket specifications
Sets up load former when in use makes sure bottom sheets are at the machine
Makes sure cutting dies are at the machine and put away after use
Makes sure ink is at the machine and at the proper down
Checks ink viscosity
Assists operator with the bottom sheet inserter as well as monitoring for quality
Prints load tags for orders
Performs housekeeping duties as necessary between orders and at end of shift to ensure safety and cleanliness
Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
Regular and reliable attendance
Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.
