About The Position

The Cytotechnologist is responsible for screening for evidence of cancer or other pathological conditions. This role remains abreast of changes in the profession or methodology through review of professional literature or attendance at professional meetings and seminars. The Cytotechnol maintains a level of expertise through continuing education and successfully participates in yearly proficiency testing.
