About The Position

We are seeking a Cytotechnologist to join our team in Denver, CO. This position is full-time, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Cytotechnologist will be responsible for examining and interpreting cellular samples to identify abnormalities and assist in the diagnosis of diseases. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely results for patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or related field.
• Certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems.
• Additional certifications in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret cellular samples for abnormalities.
• Assist in the diagnosis of diseases based on cytological findings.
• Maintain accurate records of findings and procedures.
• Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities.
