About The Position

We are seeking a Cytotechnologist to join our team in Rocky Hill, CT. This position is full-time, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Cytotechnologist will be responsible for examining and interpreting cellular samples to identify abnormalities and assist in the diagnosis of diseases. The role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in laboratory practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or related field.
• Certification as a Cytotechnologist (CT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems.
• Additional certifications in related fields.

Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret cellular samples for abnormalities.
• Assist in the diagnosis of diseases based on cytological findings.
• Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in laboratory practices.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities.
• Collaborate with pathologists and other healthcare professionals.
