About The Position

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will engage in specialized and complex technical tasks related to the screening and evaluation of cytologic specimens, including gynecologic, non-gynecologic, and fine needle aspiration (FNA) samples. Your role will involve evaluating slides for the presence of disease, providing differential diagnoses, and accurately recording findings. You will also collaborate with pathologists, review patient histories, and ensure the completeness and accuracy of specimen requisitions. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will participate in quality control activities, educational initiatives, and mentoring of cytotechnology students. You will be expected to maintain a high level of understanding of cytology theory and practice, supported by ongoing education and professional development.
