About The Position

We’re seeking a Cytotechnologist (ASCP-CT) to perform diagnostic evaluations of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens, including fine needle aspirations. This full-time, day-shift position (8 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday) offers a stable schedule with no weekend or holiday commitments. The position is located at Good Samaritan Hospital at 375 Dixmyth Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45220.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
• Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
• American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) certification.
• CT or equivalent certification; If registry eligible, certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Non-gyn and FNA experience and knowledge.
• 1-2 years of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform cytological evaluation of gynecological and non-gynecological specimens, including fine needle aspiration.
• Assist in diagnosing benign, malignant, microbiologic, viral, and other pathological conditions.
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of work.
• Receive, delegate, and complete complex assignments.
• Exhibit strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate comprehensive procedure knowledge and quality assurance understanding, including necessary documentation.
