The Cycle Counter/Receiving Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and integrity by ensuring correct delivery, performing cycle counts, random audits and reconciliation of inventory variances. Requirements

  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints
  • Basic math skills
  • Knowledge of Dynamics AX Material Handler and Cycle Inventory Menu
  • Certified forklift operator
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as a material handler

Responsibilities

  • Perform work within takt/cycle time
  • Perform work per work instructions
  • Provide and process movement of material to point of use
  • Keep work area clean by disposing empty boxes and cardboard, as well as keeping material around the assembly line in order and neat
  • Inform proper personnel of material shortage
  • Enter Received material in the computer and maintain and order shipping supplies
  • Check in and place materials from other cells
  • Pull parts for other cells and transfer in the computer and enter scrap tickets (ST)
  • Train others in all areas
  • Physically count components and parts to correlate with in-house inventory
  • Update transactions in computer system
  • Cycle count process
  • Enter scrap tickets
  • Operate forklift
  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
  • Practice 5Ss
