About The Position

The Cycle Counter maintains all inventory levels by working directly with the Inventory Control Supervisor, verifying inventory levels in comparison to physical counts and customer comparisons.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • Required three to six months related experience with inventory control
  • Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
  • Ability to effectively work in teams
  • Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple/detail oriented tasks, while maintaining an exceptional level of accuracy and organization
  • Ability to properly handle confidential information and records
  • Ability to analyze information gathered in order to identify potential problems or discrepancies
  • Strong computer system skills, with the ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to the job
  • Knowledge of WMS system (SAP), iPad
  • Certified to operate a forklift

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to pass certification in order to operate a forklift truck
  • Stand-up forklift experience desired
  • Previous warehouse production experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for getting each of the locations in the assigned zone counted each week
  • Physically go to locations and verify inventory accuracy
  • Verify locations have accurate information such as brand codes, quantities, control group, location, and correct any discrepancies that occur
  • Verify open stock and materials that are on order
  • Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory
  • Verify pallets that are a partial or line return by using hand or inch counting
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervision/management
  • Investigate and resolve differences and correct the records
  • Oversee monthly physical inventory
  • Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
  • Participate in Safety Snag program
