About The Position

Responsible for supporting inventory control processes, including cycle counting
and location auditing, to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company
policies and plant procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with PC applications, including spreadsheets and general computer systems.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with MRP II principles, manufacturing processes, and operations management preferred.
• Experience with cycle counting in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Train with the current Cycle Count team to learn and support the requirements of the plant’s Cycle Count Program.
• Perform tasks in accordance with Division Policies and Plant Work Instructions, including conducting cycle counts and location audits.
• Support the team in achieving the plant’s monthly cycle count targets.
• Assist with the reconciliation of inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis in accordance with departmental guidelines.
• Ensure inventory discrepancies are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
• Perform a variety of related inventory and operational support activities as directed, including but not limited to Receiving Dock Audits, Marsh counts, and Work Cell counts.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external personnel across all levels of the organization.
• Serve as a backup to the MRO Assistant and Planner Assistant as needed.
